Dr Stacey Bissell
Dr Stacey Bissell conducts sleep-focused and behavioural research with children diagnosed with rare genetic syndromes associated with autism, epilepsy and intellectual disability.
Project Lead
Lauren Walters
Lauren has experience in research in intellectual disability and has worked in clinical settings both in and outside of the NHS. Lauren is overseeing the day-to-day running of the OASIS project.
Research Assistant
Aamina Khan
Aamina has a wealth of research experience, particularly in regard to objective sleep measures. Aamina is leading on the sleep assessments and motionware.
Trainee Clinical Psychologist
Josh Covey
Josh is in his second year of Clinical Doctorate at the University of Birmingham. He has extensive experience assessing and working therapeutically with children with Autism.

Arfaa Riaz
Arfaa is fourth year studying a masters in Psychology and Psychological Practice at UoB. She has experience working in multiple research labs, with a focus of early years developmental psychology.
